These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of talentforgehub.org (the "Site") operated by Talent Forge ("Talent Forge," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, applying to a program, or making a donation, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. About Talent Forge
Talent Forge is an independent AI and Data Science education initiative based in Kabul, Afghanistan, offering training programs, internships, workshops, and hackathons. Talent Forge is not currently registered as a formal legal entity; references to "Talent Forge" in these Terms mean the individuals and team operating this initiative.
3. Using the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, the Site by anyone else. You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems;
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through our forms;
- Use the Site to transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content;
- Scrape, copy, or reproduce the Site's content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
4. Programs, internships & events
Talent Forge offers training programs, internships, workshops, and hackathons described on the Site. Participation in any program may be subject to additional program-specific terms, eligibility criteria, or application processes communicated separately. We reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel any program at our discretion, and to select participants based on our own criteria. Completion of a program does not constitute a guarantee of employment or certification recognized by any third party unless explicitly stated.
5. Donations
Donations made through the Donate page are voluntary contributions to support Talent Forge's educational activities. Donations are processed by third-party payment providers (PayPal or Payoneer); by donating, you also agree to those providers' own terms of service. Donations are generally non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion in cases of clear error (e.g., duplicate or mistaken payment) — contact us promptly if this occurs. Talent Forge is not responsible for delays, fees, or errors caused by PayPal, Payoneer, or your bank.
6. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise noted, all content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, and the Talent Forge name and branding — is the property of Talent Forge or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and share content from the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not reproduce, modify, or distribute it for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
7. Third-party links & services
The Site links to third-party services including Formspree (contact form processing), PayPal and Payoneer (donation processing), WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and Instagram. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third-party services. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Disclaimer
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that information on the Site (including program details, statistics, or team information) is always complete, accurate, or up to date.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Talent Forge and its team members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site, participation in any program, or reliance on any information provided through the Site.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in Afghanistan, where Talent Forge operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local law requires otherwise.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
